Full Description: This is Jack. Jack has had a rough go of it in his short life - His first owner gave Jack away - and the next family decided he had to go after they had a baby - and actually took Jack to be euthanized because they just didn't want to deal with him anymore. No one cared enough for Jack to ever train him or teach him how they expected him to act - they just left him in the back yard and expected him to figure it out on his own.... when he didn't his time was up.
Despite the lack of attention Jack received from his prior owners, Jack cried when they left him. Are you the family to show Jack what loving a pet is all about? Are you the family to help teach Jack obedience and good labbie behavior?
UPDATE 10-7-09: Jack is staying at K9 University for a bit so he can learn how to be the best dog he can be. Stay tuned for updates on Jack's progress. Even though Jack is in training - he can still be adopted - in fact - the training goes much faster if he has a family helping him along the way!
4/4/10 - Jack is with his new foster family! Jack has made leaps and bounds since coming to HLR. Jack has manners and is a whimsical, sweet loving boy. Jack does well on his lead, is kennel trained and is happy to follow commands because he knows that is what makes you happy.
