Adoption Application

Adoption Fees: $175 for adult dogs and $200 for puppies. All Heartland Lab Rescue dogs are current on medical care, spay and neutering is taken care or will be taken care of, all vaccinations as well as flea and tick medication and heartworm preventative are current.

These fees do not cover the costs incurred by dogs in our program as an average cost for each dog is about $450. In addition to this you are also helping to save the lives of very deserving Labradors. Each day there are labs that we have to pass up because we do not have the resources in funding or foster homes to put them in.

Please note we communicate primarily via email. We simply cannot keep up with the volume of applications we receive via phone. Someone will contact you via email within 48-72 hours of receiving your applications, so please check your inbox and junk mail folders regularly.

Additional Comments:

Heartland Lab Rescue survives on the help of volunteers and resources from our supporters. Would you be able to volunteer or offer resources to help in the mission?

Thank you again for your interest in Heartland Lab Rescue. We are run solely on volunteers that have full time jobs and families, it may be a day or two before we are able to contact you. The application process typically takes 4-6 days from when you submit the application.

Additionally, should you adopt elsewhere in the meantime, we would sincerely appreciate your courtesy in letting us know, so that our volunteers can move onto other applications.
