Black Dogs are Beautiful

Black dogs need you. They have the hardest time finding a home compared to their lighter colored friends, and end up staying in foster care the longest. Heartland Lab Rescue currently has 20 wonderful black dogs in our program, and they are anxiously awaiting their forever homes. A black dog is just as loving and beautiful as any other dog, but she is often overlooked because of negative stereotypes, superstitions and fear.
