Phoenix
Meet Phoenix! She’s the sweetest 5 year old girl! Don’t be fooled by her age or her few gray hairs, she’s still super young at heart! Phoenix is your typical velcro labby. Curling up on the couch? Going to get a snack in the kitchen? Going to the bathroom? She’ll always be your shadow! Phoenix is house trained, loves to explore all things outside, and is good with other dogs. She is still figuring out what toys are and how to play with others, but she’s getting the hang of things! Phoenix is treat motivated and she LOVES to eat. Be careful, she loves to eat other furry friend’s bowls too! Phoenix occasionally jumps up on the counter to see what’s going on and jumps on people when she gets a little too excited. She follows commands extremely well and is a smart dog. No cats here but she does love to chase the squirrels in the backyard. Phoenix barks at strangers but with a little encouragement she warms up quickly. She walks well on a leash but still needs a reminder or two to stay on one side. The car? Not her favorite. She needs lots of encouragement and a few treats to get her in it. Lastly, Phoenix loves to talk! She’s very vocal. She moans and groans and has a sound for just about everything. Phoenix would be best with a family who can give her lots of attention, go on lots of walks, can be outside, and a family who has some patience. Phoenix tends to be a little anxious in new situations but adapts fairly well with extra love and support. Phoenix is a great dog and would love to be your new and coolest best friend!
